While you can't see specifically who has listened to your Spotify playlist, you can track the number of streams your playlist has as well as the number of likes.

Key Points:

What's The Difference Between Likes And Follows?

The Like button on Spotify playlists has been replaced with the Follow button, shaped like a heart.

Essentially, liking, saving, and following a playlist on Spotify are now the same thing

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Spotify playlist likes and follows the same thing?

Yes - Spotify has gotten rid of the "Like" metric for playlists. Now, the number of Spotify users who liked your playlist is the same as your follows count.

How many public playlists can you list on your Spotify profile?

Currently there is a limit of 200 visible public playlists on your Spotify profile, both on Spotify web and the mobile app. If you're a frequent playlist curator, any additional playlists past #200 will be hidden from view.

Can people on Spotify see who listens to their playlist?

No, even Spotify for Artists won't reveal specifically who is listening to your playlist.

Does Spotify notify you when someone plays your playlist?

No, listener activity is totally private on Spotify.

Is there any way to track who saved my Spotify playlist?

You can see how many followers a playlist has, but you won’t see who those people are.

Can artists see who listens to playlists they create using Spotify for Artists?

Spotify for Artists provides analytics with aggregate data, but it won't show you specifically who is listening to your playlists or tracks.

If someone shares my playlist, can I see who listens from their share?

No, share data is also anonymous.

Can collaborative playlist owners see who plays the playlist?

They can see who adds or edits songs, but not listeners.

Is playlist listening activity public on Spotify?

Spotify listening habits are mostly private, with the exception being listening activity if sharing is enabled for friends, but playlist creators don't have access to listener information.

Why doesn’t Spotify show who listens to playlists?

It's all about privacy. Since music preferences are considered personal data, Spotify limits visibility to anonymous aggregate metrics.

How can I tell if my playlist is popular on Spotify?

The number of followers/likes, playlist streams, and saves are a good indicator of how popular your playlist is.

Can third-party apps show who listened to my Spotify playlist?

Nope - Spotify doesn't give anyone access to that information so third party sites or apps claiming to have access to it are lying and most likely trying to get your personal information.
