Ready to clean up your Twitch feed? There are two easy methods for unfollowing a channel on Twitch, on the Twitch app and desktop.

On Desktop

Method #1

Expand the sidebar on the left side.

Under Followed Channels, click the Twitch channel you wish to unfollow.

Once on the streamer's channel, click the heart icon on the right side. On offline channels this will appear beneath the channel intro video.

Method #2

Click the Following tab on the top of the Twitch homefeed, or visit the list of Twitch channels you follow directly here.

You'll see all the channels you follow here, so if you have a lot it might take some time to locate the one you want to unfollow.

Hover over the channel thumbnail and click the broken heart icon.

You can use this method to conveniently mass unfollow channels.

On Mobile

Tap the Following option in the left hand menu.

Scroll down to Your Offline Channels (note that live channels will appear separately)

Tap the specific channel you wish to unfollow.

Tap the heart icon that appears on the grey or purple button.

Tap the unfollow button on the pop up confirmation.

How To Turn Off Notifications

Tired of hearing from someone on Twitch? You can turn off notifications from specific Twitch streamers by following the steps below:

On Desktop

Method #1

Expand the sidebar on the left side.

Under Followed Channels, click the Twitch channel you wish to unfollow.

Click the Following tab on the top of the Twitch homefeed, or visit the list of Twitch channels you follow directly here.

You'll see all the channels you follow here, so if you have a lot it might take some time to locate the one you want to unfollow.

Hover over the channel thumbnail and click the purple arrow to the right of the broken heart icon.

Toggle Notifications OFF.

You will no longer receive notifications when that content creator goes live.

On Twitch Mobile

Tap the Following option in the left hand menu.

Scroll down to Your Offline Channels (note that live channels will appear separately)

Tap the specific channel you wish to toggle notifications for.

Tap the bell icon. It should now appear with a line through it.
