To appear offline on TikTok, even when you're online, you can turn off your activity status. This feature, when deactivated, makes your online presence invisible to others.
To appear offline on TikTok you'll need to access your profile settings from the TikTok app. These instructions won't work from the desktop site.
Open TikTok on your mobile device.
On the bottom right corner tap Profile.
Tap the three lines in the top right corner.
Tap Settings and Privacy.
Tap Privacy.
From here, toggle off Activity Status.
